Assistant dean, student present at microbiology, immunology meeting

Matt Jackson, Ph.D., WSU assistant dean for basic science curriculum, and Mike Connor, a Year IV WSU medical student, presented three talks at the 11th Microbiology & Immunology Educational Strategies Workshop, in Myrtle Beach, S.C., earlier this month. Mr. Connor, who will be starting a residency in emergency medicine at Henry Ford Health System after graduation, presented "Evaluation Strategies in Medical Education: Student Perspectives." Mr. Connor was a "huge asset" to the School of Medicine's Personal Digital Assistant Committee, Dr. Jackson said. In addition, Dr. Jackson presented "LCME: Current Knowledge Objectives" and "The Brilliance of PDAs in Medicine."
