Lanette Rowland, an administrative assistant at WSU's Karmanos Cancer Institute, has been awarded the university's Building Coordinator of the Year Award. She received $500 and a plaque in recognition of her efforts at a recent ceremony. Other School of Medicine employees recognized at the event were Sheryl MacGillis, medical facilities coordinator, for her work on the Building Coordinators Advisory Board; Vickie Perry-Davis, a secretary in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, for five years of service; and Dawn Cochrane, a coordinator in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, also for five years of service.
