The Wayne State University Center for Peace & Conflict Studies recently awarded Dr. Lawrence Brilliant and his wife, Girija, the Community Peacemaker Award at its 40th anniversary celebration. Dr. Brilliant is an alumnus of the WSU School of Medicine. The Community Peacemaker Awards recognize those who have made a difference for peace and social understanding in the community.
