Dr. Qasim Omran, a WSU resident in Internal Medicine, recently was notified that his abstract, "Induction of Periodic Breathing: The Influence of Gender," has been accepted for oral presentation at the 19th Annual Meeting of American Professional Sleep Societies on June 22. Dr. Omran's research mentor is Dr. Safwan Badr, WSU professor of internal medicine.
