Tammy Lundstrom, M.D., J.D., WSU assistant professor of internal medicine, has been appointed to a newly established Pandemic Influenza Working Group. The group was established by the National Vaccine Advisory Committee, a federal body that reports to the Department of Health and Human Services, to solicit input regarding national preparedness and response. Dr. Lundstrom was appointed to represent the National Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology.
