Dr. Karpawich speaks at NYU, Heart Rhythm Society

Peter P. Karpawich, M.D., WSU professor of pediatrics and director of cardiac electrophysiology at Children's Hospital Michigan, was an invited grand rounds speaker at New York University School of Medicine. His topic was "Interventional Device Therapy in Children with Congenital Heart Defects." He also was an invited faculty speaker at the 26th Annual Scientific Sessions of the Heart Rhythm Society, held in New Orleans. His topics included "Hurdles in Pacemaker Lead Implant and Removal" and "Concepts, Strategies and Technologies of Cardiac Pacing in Children."
