Seemant Chaturvedi, M.D., associate professor of neurology and director of the WSU/Detroit Medical Center Stroke Program, recently received a grant from the Blue Cross Blue Shield Foundation of Michigan for his proposal, "Application of a Structured Vascular Risk Factor Intervention Program to an Urban High-Risk Population." In addition, he has been appointed to an American Heart Association committee on "Definition and Diagnostic Evaluation of Transient Ischemic Attack."
