The American Academy of Pediatrics has asked Deepak Kamat, M.D., Ph.D., to co-edit a textbook on pediatrics. Dr. Kamat is a professor, vice chair of education and director of the Institute of Medical Education within the WSU Carman and Ann Adams Department of Pediatrics. The book, which will cover general pediatrics, will be published by early 2007.
