AAMC honors WSU Future Docs program

The Association of American Medical Colleges honored Wayne State University School of Medicine's 2005 Future Docs program with an Award of Distinction in the special projects category of the 34th Group on Institutional Advancement Awards for Excellence Competition.The school was one of three institutions recognized for an outstanding special program or project implemented between Jan. 1, 2004, and June 30, 2005. The award will be presented at a reception March 29 at the AAMC's Group on Institutional Advancement spring conference, in Austin. Those recognized for this achievement are: Donna Dauphinais, chief of staff; Kathy Fitzgerald, director of public affairs and publications; Sue Helderop, special events manager for development and alumni affairs; Lori Herman, executive assistant for development and alumni affairs; Janus Landrum, development officer; and Susan Miller, associate director of development and alumni affairs.
