The WSU School of Medicine will honor the CEOs of health systems affiliated with the Southeastern Michigan Center for Medical Education with the Pathfinders in Medicine Awards. These awards are presented annually to recognize the leadership and vision of distinguished physicians, researchers, other health-care professionals and community leaders who have advanced the quality and availability of medicine. Proceeds from the black-tie event, which will be Saturday, Oct. 7, benefit educational programs at the School of Medicine. Recipients of this year's award are listed below.
