Resident wins Scholar-in-Training Award

Prakash Vishnu, a Sinai-Grace internal medicine resident, was selected for the American Association of Clinical Research Scholar-in-Training Award. He participated in the AACR 98th Annual Meeting in Los Angeles in April. His research for which he received the award was entitled "Inhibition of mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) restores estrogen receptor alpha (ERa) expression and anti-estrogen response in ERa negative breast cancers in vitro."
