WSU Provost Nancy Barrett recently gave $10,000 Research Grant Awards to four members of the School of Medicine faculty. Those honored were:

• Robert Augustyniak, professor of internal medicine, for "Bradykinin-induced Sympathetic Activation in Diabetic Rats";

• Bin Bao, professor of internal medicine, for "Synthetic Anti-angiogenic Peptides for Cancer Therapy";

• Mona Doshi, professor of internal medicine, for "Medical Outcomes in African-American Live Kidney Donors"; and

• Kwaku Nantwi, professor of anatomy and cell biology, for "Expression of Neuronal Nitric Oxide after Upper Cervical Spinal Cord Hemisection."
