Debra F. Skafar, Ph.D., WSU associate professor of physiology and a member of the Karmanos Cancer Institute, recently presented on "Understanding the Estrogen Receptor-alpha through Targeted Mutagenesis" at the International Symposium on Steroid Hormone Receptors and Molecular Signaling. The symposium, at which Dr. Skarfar served as session co-chair, was held at the Rajiv Gandhi Center for Biotechnology in Trivandrum, in Kerala, India.
