Milton G. Mutchnick, M.D., professor of internal medicine and chief of the WSU Division of Gastroenterology, has been honored by the American Gastroenterological Association Foundation as a 2007 Mentor Scholar Honoree. Dr Mutchnick and others receiving the award have been selected based on meritorious service as mentors for a minimum of 25 trainees, scholarship and attaining at least 60 years of age. Dr. Mutchnick will be feted at a gala reception during the annual Digestive Disease Week Meetings in Washington, on May 20.
