Seemant Chaturvedi, M.D., WSU associate professor of neurology and director of the WSU-Detroit Medical Center Stroke Program, recently presented a paper at the American Stroke Association International Stroke Conference. The paper, "Early Identification of African-American Patients with Heart Disease," investigated carotid stenosis in African-American patients with heart disease. WSU co-authors included Bradley Jacobs, M.D., Angela Vouyouka, M.D., and Mohammed Sunbulli, M.D.
