Dr. Binienda receives award for graduate work

Juliann Binienda, Ph.D., an assistant professor in the WSU Department of Family Medicine and Public Health Sciences, recently received an award for her dissertation, "Medical Student Influences and Perceptions Related to End-of-Life Care." The award, the Richard Kalish Memorial Award for best Graduate Student Paper of the Year, was presented by the Association of Death Education and Counseling. Dr. Binienda's study was conducted using our School of Medicine students as subjects. Dr. Binienda was granted a PhD in October.
