Dr. Aaron wins national award for teaching

Cynthia K. Aaron, M.D., WSU associate professor, emergency medicine, was one of nine people nationally to be awarded the 2007 American College of Emergency Medicine National Faculty Teaching Award. The award honors outstanding educators in the field of emergency medicine and is designed to support faculty in their efforts to achieve academic advancement as well as support the continued academic development of the specialty. The award recognizes superior didactic lectures, clinical instruction, the development of innovative educational programs as well as the endorsement of faculty, residents and students. The award process was designed to mimic rigorous procedures commonly used by tenure committees in deliberations.
