Three members of the WSU Department of Neurology recently received grants. Kenneth Maiese, M.D., professor of neurol Impacting Oxidative Stress and Cell Injury Through Novel Pathways. Paula Dore-Duffy, Ph.D., professor of neurology, received an $825,000 Multiple Sclerosis Collaborative Center Research Award from the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Joshua Adler, M.D., Ph.D., associate professor of neurology was awarded a three year, $426,000 grant by the U.S. Veterans Administration to study Modulation of Neuropathic Pain by Glial-derived Factors.
