Frank MacMaster, a post-doctoral research fellow in the laboratory of David Rosenberg, M.D., Miriam L. Hamburger Endowed Chair of Child Psychiatry, recently received the BrainStar Award from the Institute of Neurosciences, Mental Health and Addiction of the Canadian Institutes for Health Research. He was recognized for his paper "Hippocampal volume in early onset depression," which was published in BMC Medicine. The award is for a first author original paper by a graduate student or post-doctoral fellow at a Canadian university, which is where he studied before joining WSU's School of Medicine.
