PhD student receives 3-year NIH predoctoral fellowship

Jaron Lockett, a WSU School of Medicine PhD student in the Department of Pathology, recently received funding from the National Cancer Institute for a predoctoral training fellowship, entitled "Maspin as a Regulator of Protease Expression." The project, sponsored by Shijie Sheng, PhD, WSU associate professor of pathology, will focus on maspin protein's role in prostate cancer.
