MacArthur fellow to speak at Pharmacology?s Founders Lecture April 12

Dr. Robert M. Sapolsky, a well-known author and MacArthur fellow, will speak at the Department of Pharmacology's Founders Lecture Thursday, April 12. Dr. Sapolsky, a Stanford University professor of biological sciences, neurology and neurolgical sciences, will speak on "Stress, Neurodegeneration and Individual Differences: From Molecules to Societies." Dr. Sapolsky is the author of "A Primates Memoir" and "Why Zebras Don't Get Ulcers." Much of his work focuses on explaining the role of stress in disease.

The Founders Lecture will be at 1 p.m., in Room 2268, Scott Hall.
