Krishna K. Nayak, MD, a part-time faculty member in the WSU Department of Radiology, recently was inducted as a fellow in the American College of Radiology. Fellowship is one of the college's highest honors, conferred to only about 10 percent of the group's 32,000 members. Nominees are considered based on service to organized medicine; accomplishments in scientific or clinical research in the fields of radiology, radiation oncology or medical physics; performance as a teacher; and reputation among colleagues in the local community.
