Steven Hinderer, M.D., WSU associate professor of physical medicine and rehabilitation and medical director of the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan Center for Spinal Cord Injury Recovery, will receive a Distinguished Member Award from the American Congress of Rehabiliation Medicine at their annual conference on Sept. 10. The award honors those who have significantly contributed to the development and functioning of the group as well as demonstrated evidence of leadership skills, organizational abilities and public service.
