Dr. Artinian named co-PI of CUAAH

Dr. Nancy Artinian, WSU professor and director of the doctoral and postdoctoral programs in the College of Nursing, has been named co-principal investigator of the National Institutes of Health-funded Center for Urban and African-American Health, a five-year, $6 million dollar study. Dr. Artinian is an NIH-funded investigator of a project studying the impact of home blood pressure tele-monitoring on blood pressure control in African Americans. Dr. Artinian is a graduate of the WSU doctoral nursing program and also completed a NIH National Research Service Award Postdoctoral fellowship in the area of health promotion and risk reduction at the University of Michigan School of Nursing.
