Dean Robert Frank has formally named the School's  newly established group recognizing excellence in teaching the Lamp and Staff Society to ensure it is clearly distinguished from  the Wayne State University Academy of Scholars. "I regret any confusion I may have caused as I rushed to establish a more formal way of honoring our finest teachers," Dean Frank said. "I value the contributions of all of our outstanding faculty members and continue to hold them in the highest regard.
