In keeping with Wayne State University’s efforts to keep the campus community safe during the coronavirus pandemic, the upcoming spring semester courses (May 4-June 23) and spring/summer semester courses (May 4-July 30) will be offered via online or remote instruction only. Details for summer semester courses (June 24-Aug. 14) have not yet been finalized. Registration for spring/summer classes is now open. Students should note that not all courses currently reflect the change to online and remote instruction; the Registrar's Office is working to update class listings.
The popular Spring/Summer Tuition Break, which provides a 30% tuition discount for undergraduate spring/summer classes, will continue. Undergraduate students who complete at least 24 credits between fall 2019 and winter 2020 may be eligible for a 30% discount on tuition for spring/summer classes, providing tremendous financial savings and keeping them on track to graduate sooner. To be eligible for the discount, students must have registered for and be slated to complete 24 credits between fall and winter, and must have had a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 at the end of fall 2019.
Online student success resources are available through the Learn Anywhere platform, as well as other programs and initiatives to support your success. Spring/summer courses fill quickly, so students are encouraged to meet with their advisor virtually to determine eligibility and to plan their academic schedule.
