Michigan struggling to fill nursing ranks, study shows

In a story about Michigan's projected nursing shortage, Wayne State is mentioned as one of Michigan's universities doing something to address the problem through its accelerated program for second-degree students. An American Association of Colleges of Nursing survey found only 31 accelerated baccalaureate programs in 1990 in the United States, jumping to 133 by last year.
