A special sale offering the new WSU cookbooks is planned from 10a.m.- 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, in the Student Center Building, across from Little Caesar's Pizza Station.

Recipes in the book come from members of the Wayne State University community, providing an opportunity to see their preferred gourmet treats. The new cookbooks make great holiday gifts for family, friends and colleagues. The President's Commission on the Status of Women is sponsoring the book sale to help raise $10,000 for an endowment scholarship for a female athlete. Committee members include Celia Robinson, Olga Tsoudis, Diane Brown, Margaret Maday, Ann Alvarez, Brenda Carey, Phyllis Beasley and Grace Hill.

The cookbooks cost $10; checks should be made payable to the commission. The books will be available at the December sale, but also can be pickup at the COSW office, 1321 Faculty Administration Building. The books also can be mailed out.
