Cherie Phillips, M.D., Class of 2006, has joined the Michigan Vascular Center in Flint, Mich.

Dr. Phillips comes to the center with an extensive background in vascular care. Originally from Cleveland, she first earned a master's degree in bioethics before earning her medical degree at the Wayne State University School of Medicine.

She followed her degree with a general surgery residence at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C., and a vascular surgery fellowship at University Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. She has training in open surgical and advanced minimally invasive endovascular procedures.
