Dr. Rafols to be visiting professor in Mexico

Jose Rafols, Ph.D., WSU professor of anatomy and cell biology, recently received an invitation to be a visiting professor in the international program of the school of medicine at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, in Mexico. He will teach neuroscience to second-year medical students. Dr. Rafols has provided strong leadership in refining the neuroscience course taught to first-year students at WSU's School of Medicine. In addition to his teaching commitment, Dr. Rafols has published a neuroanatomy atlas that serves as the primary text for the course curriculum. Dr. Rafols has published extensively, been funded by several National Institutes of Health grants and collaborates with several people both at WSU and abroad.
