Inspire the next generation of Warriors

Inspire the next generation of Warriors

The Wayne State University Alumni Association invites graduates to share their experiences with prospective students who are weighing the option of attending WSU.

By volunteering as an Alumni Admissions Ambassador, you will provide personal interaction and encouragement that can make the difference between students in your community choosing Wayne State instead of another university.

Encourage the next generation of teachers, doctors, engineers and nurses to make Wayne State their home. Below you will find a few volunteer opportunities available for the spring.

Telephone Calls to Prospective Students (calling from campus)
Make telephone calls to prospective students from Alumni House on campus. Tell prospective students what your Wayne State degree means to you.

Participants will receive a 30 minute training session, talking points, Wayne State alumni T-shirt, free parking and a light dinner. Volunteer opportunities are available the following evenings:

Wednesday, March 13, 5:30-8 p.m.
Monday, March 18, 5:30-8 p.m.
Thursday, March 28, 5:30-8 p.m.

Reserve your spot for one, two, three or four nights.

Postcards to Prospective Students
The Alumni Association will send you everything you need including stamped post cards, a list of student names and addresses, and detailed instructions.

Sign up to receive your packet of information. Packets contain 10 postcards each.

Telephone Calls to Prospective Students (calling from home)
